I booked a tour of the town hall ,very eager not to miss out I arrived 35 mins early.while waiting for the tour guide I started talking to a staff member who was outside the building,she let me inside and left to to wonder about on my own on the second floor,just make sure that I was to return before the tour guide.As it turned out the tour had been cancelled,a wedding reception was due to start at midday.I did not get the full tour but at least a I did get a peek inside.

Next I visited the museum of science and industry,Manchester launched the industrial revolution,there were many great innovators for manufacture,industry and trade. This was very interesting and informative.MOSI was free to visit ,they do ask for a donation, well worth it.

A coffee next ,meet a person from Thames.Then onto the Archives Library. And a look around the market and shopping archades.

Plenty more to see and do but my time in Manchester is at an end.......for now anyway.
