Fairy wings and feather boas

We left the horrible apartment / room this morning and took a taxi to Bondi Beach. We couldn't check into Surfside Hostel for a while and so went for a walk along the beach and shops, which was nice, apart from the rain...again! Once we had moved into our dorm room, which smells disgusting, we went on the train to Bondi Junction to buy our fancy dress outfit for Mardi Gras tomorrow. We settled on pretty fairy wings and tiaras, to wear with brightly coloured dresses, although I did really want to get feather boas as well!

In the evening we went to Icebergs, which is a swimming club on a cliff overlooking Bondi Beach, and had $10 steaks - which were really good considering how cheap they were! After, we went to an ice cream parlour and had gelato. Oh, and when we got in, they guy on the bunk below me brought a girl back and they tried to have sex, which we all promptly stopped. This is why I don't like dorm rooms!
