Total embarrassment...and injuries! We had breakfast and then went for a walk into the town of Katoomba. We had been told that there would be a lot of vintage clothes shops, but they turned out to be full of old peoples' second hand stuff - not really vintage! The Blue Mountains This morning we left the hotel at 7am, to meet the Oz Experience coach which was taking us to the Blue Mountains. The first stop was at a clearing at the base of the mountains, where we saw some wild kangaroos. We then stopped at a small town for breakfast, and also went to an eco-centre near to the mountains. The discovery of 30 cent ice cream! Today we left the Surfside hostel - thank god! We checked out and took the bus to Central station, which is where our next hostel is. From Bondi breakfast to Coogee Chinese We woke up this morning and all of us were desperate to get out of the hostel room. Once we had de-gittered ourselves we went down to the beach for breakfast, and then decided to do the Bondi to Coogee walk along the coastline. Mardi Gras! After an understandingly sleepless night, (which has left me scarred for life!), we got up and went into the CBD, to do some more sightseeing, We finally took some photos of the harbour in the sunshine, and then walked to the bridge to do the Pylon climb. The pylons are the four supporting structures at the entrances to the bridge, and from the top we got really good views over Sydney.
