This morning we had a sleep in and then went for a walk through the forest and over the top of the caves we explored yesterday. Today we woke early and travelled on the bus to Karanghave caves. Inside they were pitch black and we had to hold onto each other to find our way through the other side! It was pretty rubbish weather, but there was still some beautiful scenery. We then drive onto waitomo caves. We we walked through the caves and saw some incredible formations and glow worms up close! Today was our first day on the kiwi experience! It's lots of fun and I have already met some lovely people. We spent the morning travelling from Aukland to the east, passing through lively countryside which is very similar to England! We spent our afternoon as hot water beach.
