Wow, so been having great weather here in Melbourne! Rain, rain, rain - torrential! We went to look at cameras for me on Tuesday and on Wednesday Amanda took us to Frankston to get me the new camera, which is really lush! Love it. Arthur and I then got the train into the city which took about an hour, we had intended to go to the Botanical Gardens and some other sights, but due to the heavy rain we decided to go to the Melbourne Museum instead. We had wanted to go anyway and even better, we had student cards so we got in for free! The museum was amazing though, the displays were just so good, and really interactive and fun for all ages. We spent most of the afternoon there, and then left in search of some warmer clothes as it's going to be freezing in NZ! We both got coats. Arthur then went to get a haircut and I went to meet Delia, I met her at her uni and she's staying in a college called St Mary's. Most people in Australia who live in the city stay at home during uni, it's really only the country people who live in college, but I think from what Delia's said (and friends from home) it's a much better experience to be living at uni! So we went to dinner and I met her friends, then Arthur came a few hours later, and we then watched a new comedy called Angry Boys which was so so funny (same guy as in Summer Heights High). We then got ready to go out and had some drinks in one of her friends rooms. We then went to this pub, which had a dance floor called PA's, and had a good night out, all her friends are really friendly! Delia had rowing at 5 am, so we didn't see her this morning, we left about 10. Made our way into town and got a bite to eat from Pie Face, a really tasty and inexpensive (RARE in Australia) cafe, we got $4.95 pies and they were really good. We then made our way to Queen Victoria Market, which is the oldest one in Melbourne and is pretty amazing, it has everything there and is huge! So we did our final souvenir shopping for Australia and then we got some lunch (another pie!) and made our way to the centre and bought dinner as we cooked for the Rowe's this evening. It took nearly 2 hours to get back to Mount Martha and Amanda and the boys picked us up from the bus stop. We then cooked a pasta bake which went down very well (as did the profiteroles). The boys went to bed and we played a bit of Taboo and then watched Priscilla Queen of the Desert which was quite funny. Gotta go to bed now as up at 6 to get into Melbourne in time for our Neighbours Tour Bus!
