We had an epically long overnight bus journey, down from Sydney - 17 hours! I think I only managed sleep for 3 at best! It also meant we were unable to watch the Royal Wedding! :( We arrived in Melbourne about 8 in the morning, and took the tram to St Kilda to find our hostel. We decided to stay in another Base hostel as we really liked the one we stayed in in Sydney. I have already decided that I prefer Melbourne, even though I haven't seen much of it yet as we're back again for 5 days at the end of our trip, but as a big city it's got a very different feel to all the others that I've been too! Anyway I was exhausted so had a nap and Arthur walked around the block to the park. After lunch we went down to St. Kilda beach as the sun was out all day, which was nice just sitting there watching the sea! We then were on our way home to cook dinner, but went by a lovely smelling Indian restaurant so decided to go for one, and it was quite cheap for here as well $12.50 for 2 currys and some rice!

We then went out in the evening to meet my friend Helena from work, and her friend Lucy who she is travelling, both of whom were at school with Arthur. So that was really lovely seeing both of them and hearing about all their amazing travels across India and South-East Asia!

We're off on our Greaat Ocean Road tour tomorrow which I can't wait for! We're going to see an AFL match with the hostel this afternoon which should be good!
