We checked out of the hostel at 10, which was coincidentally the same time our bus to the airport picked us up. We said goodbye to Tom and Marlene which was sad, but we have them on facebook! Alice Springs Airport was so cute, so lax on everything and all the gates were next to each other and were just doors onto the same outside bit as we had to walk out to our plane. The flight was 2 and half hours over the outback which was amazing and so red and then we landed in Melbourne. We had to wait about half an hour for the bus to Mornington where Amanda, mum's friend, would kindly meet us to take us to their house in Mount Martha. The bus took about 2 hours! Then it was 10 minutes to their house, which is amazing, it's so nice with views out to sea and a veranda all along the front of the house. It's nice to be in a house again with a warm 'doona' (duvet) and just the home comforts! Jacob and Lucas were very excited to see us and they are very sweet. Looking forward to a relaxed morning tomorrow and getting to see Melbourne!
