We decided to stay in Howard Springs for three nights - a little bit out of Darwin. Next door to our caravan Gracie met Rowan who is about the same age. Over the few days we have been here, Gracie and Rowan have played everyday. It is great for Gracie to have company of her own age.
We went into Darwin and had a look around. Saw Parliament House which is impressive in its architecture, and also viewed an art show at the contemporary gallery next door.
We went for a walk along the waterfront and drove down to Stokes Wharf. This is a really big working wharf. We had some fish and chips and fed the seagulls a few leftovers.
There is a wave pool in Darwin city where we went for a couple of hours. Gracie had fun with Steve pushing her on the waves on a boogie board.
We caught up on some maintenance and Harry the Hilux got a oil and filter change. The gearbox/clutch seems to be going ok so we are going to keep on going...
