Day 3 on boat still lots of trees and water and not a lot to report.
2.36 pm - overtook another boat;
3.52 pm - spotted some mountains in the distance;
4.02 pm - Nick devises a cunning plan to fix our ensuite toilet which has been devoid of water for some time. This has not been an issue until today when most of the boats toilets stopped working. He has rigged up an empty pop bottle to the air-conditioning unit to collect the water which is expelled, we can then use this to fill the toilet (simples!)
5.43 pm - thought I saw a boy with a pot noodle - I must be hallucinating after eating only cream crackers for 3 days.
I had always thought Brazilians have excellent taste in dance and music after all they have the Rio Carnival. This assumption has proved to be so very wrong, their pop music sounds like either Barbie Girl or the Monster Mash. These sounds are blasted through the bar speakers (next to our room) 20 hours a day. Tonight Nick is on a mission to destroy said speakers whilst everyone is sleeping.
