I win, I win, I win! Ok, so Steve has been kicking my butt in backgammon (it's ALL in the dice - not skill). But, last night, it was my turn to shine! I actually won...so now I may be more willing to play yet again. Steve: I have been upstaged. But look forward to revenge. This is the only reason why I play this game. I have yet convinced Christina that she would really really be good at chess. I rub my hands in anticippppation. We have made great strides with our entomologist friend but still feel as if we know pathetically little. We do know a lot about red and white wine and backgammon. Tomorrow we move. They are throwing us out. They no longer want us. So with our noses in the air we are moving south and into.......a luxury lodge that offers beauty therapy (not very good for me) candle lit dinners in secret places (good for Christina and me), all this at 50% of the normal price! Christina and I are trying to get money back without paying anything at all. This would be a really good deal. Me: I'm looking forward to a change in scenery, but our time in number 9 chalet has been really fantastic and productive. Our short break down south will be invigorating and we'll be ready to return on Sunday to the 'grind'. So from tomorrow we will be trudging on...south.
