Day Fifty-one 4.5.05 We took the scenic route to San Pedro and then onto Marbella. We are camped about 12kms away from the town centre in a beach side resort called Cabopino. The site is nicely laid out and we have a pitch with pool view. This time the pool is functioning and we were able to take a well deserved dip before lunch. After lunch we took the short walk to the beach. There is a small marina with posh boats in and a selection of restaurants and bars which we might try later. We walked along the beach and discovered that it turns nudist after about 200 metres. There wasn't much to see and we hadn't bought our towels so we couldn't join in (Not that we would!). We returned to the site as it was too hot and like we said we hadn't taken our towels (Duhh!) and spent the afternoon by the pool. The site does have more than its fair share of permanent residents and most appear to come from Essex (Except the noisy Liverpudlians and the Jordies.) It reminds us of the soap Eldorado (Not that we ever watched it.) We have also just seen a Diana Doors lookie-likie and Frank Butcher in a thong - yuk! We are planning to have a Chinese tonight as we spotted what appeared to be a good one. Looking forward to spending the day on the beach tomorrow with all our kit - Towels, sarongs, trunks, lotion, books, water, sun glasses, etc, etc.
