Had a really good first day in Darwin, slept in for most of the morning after travelling for over 24 hours tris saw a giant bat on the way to the hostel about a foot in wing span!! After grabbing a burger we went for a walk down the esplanade (beachfront) and got our bearings. Found a place called aquascene where we fed hundreds of huge wild fish, nearly got eaten alive thanks to tris surrounding me with bread. Tonight we went for a walk and stumbled across the dawrin symphony orchestra which we watched whilst the sunset.

Today we have had another busy day we went to crocadilus cove this morning and saw some massive crocs including the one starring in crocodile dundee he is huge!! We also watched lots of reptiles being fed including a snake eating a rat, tris took lots of photos for you to see. This afternoon we found a pool to cool down in in the hostel down the road, and went to buy some trainers for me for next week. Mum and dad you were right i did need to have my feet covered the lady on the phone told me there are lots of snakes in kakadu so had to rush to get some in the last hour. Next we are going to the mindil markets on the beach. We will be back with another update at the weekend, in Kakadu national park all next week so should have lots of photos for you all!
