Yesterday went to the nearest beach on a tram - Glenelg (palindrome) lovely. Today went to botanic gardens then a migration museum - very interesting. 1.5 million Brits came to South Australia in the 1950. Interesting breakdown of other nationalities who have come. Like Adelaide but like other cities they have down and outs.

Left Alice Springs on The Ghan and had lovely meals on the train. Outback scenery unchanging for mile after mile - great excitement when you saw anything! A bit of a sleepless night with the noise of the track and the swaying of the train. In Adelaide now and planning to take the tram to the beach.
