A very relaxed day today! Making our way to Airlie Beach tonight on the night bus! We've picked up a guy along the way, Ben, who Tom met in Singapore and he's travelling with us for the next week. We developed our underwater photos from the day at the reef... most were good suprisingly! Then onto a local lagoon/pool area because we can't swim in the sea due to lots of Jellyfish! Another FABULOUS day!!! Took a day trip up through the rainforest to Cape Tribulation! Our guide was called Kendal and he was great! So enthusiastic and knowledgable!!! He drove us along the Captain Cook Highway and we first stopped at the Rainforest Habitat where we saw loads of creatures! AUSTRALIA BABY!!!! Arrived at 4.30am this morning... 26 degrees at that time! Hot hot hot!!! Met up with tom and went straight out to the reef! It was great.... the best day... sun sun sun! Took us about hour an a half to get to the reef then we spent around 5 hours there snorkelling, having a lunch buffet (yum yum!), going in a semi sub, and also in a glass bottom boat!
