Got to bed at 7am after a BRILLIANT night out in Tokyo. After waking up at around 12pm ish we got ready and headed out to Harajuku. Mari left us on the way to here and it was a very tearful goodbye! We went to the Meiji Shrine which was built in remebrance of Emperor Meiji who adapted parts of western life into the Japanese lifestyle. Here we saw a couple of weddings where the bride wheres white but instead of a veil has a massive white hod around her head, and the guy where a traditional Japanese style gown. The Meiji Shrine has lots of woodland around it and so it was lovely to walk around here. When walking back from the shrine we saw some Harajuku girls who are famous for dressing up in outfits... some we as goths, dolls etc. We had a photo with three girls who were dressed up as something very scary!!! Will puit the pics up soon of those! Stopped at starbucks as we were in need of a hot chocolate and headed back to the hostel for an ealry night!
