Happy Valentines Day! Can you believe...we got up at 5.30 am?! This was to go to the Tsukiji fish market. Unfortunately we had missed the auction of all the fish but it was very busy. Lots of market stalls, in a big warehouse, selling all kinds of fish, even whale! There were these funny little motors for shipping the fish around, which nearly drove into us a few times! In the afternoon Mari took us to a really cool temple in Asakusa called Senso-ji. It was a lovely day, surprisingly very hot! After that we went to the Sumo grounds hoping to see a sumo match, but all we could see was the outside of the stadium and a shop...was tempted to buy some sumo food! In the evening we went for a meal in a restaurant called the lock up. This was a big surprise that Mari had planned. It was great fun, but very scary! To get to the restaurant we had to go through corridors like the ones in a ghost train! When we got there they put me (lib) in handcuffs to take us to our table, which was in a cell and we sat on the floor on mats. Half way through our meal, the lights went out and scary music came on. Then all of a sudden scary people in masks and outfits came into our cell! These were the waitors dressed up in scary outfits. After this we went to sing on the Karaoke, in our own room, which was very fun!!
