Drove up from Ventimiglio through some amazing scenery to Geneva today. On the way we stopped off at Saluzzo, a charming little village in north Italy with all the cobbled streets and cafés i had expected of this country. This was the first time for both of us in Italy, albeit for a matter of hours as we drove from Italy, through France, back through italy, through all 12 km of the MOnt Blanc tunnel and back into France again.

We found a campsite just outside Geneva, 3km over the border, we even managed to wangle a swim in the indoor heated pool before dinner. Some campsite owners really know how to do this whole camping lark in style.
