Another trek and this time to Lake Wabby. We spotted at a lookout first where it is the only place in the world where you can see the sea, a lake, forest and sand dunes altogether. It was really cool, but very very hot! We had to walk over the sand dunes after our time at the lake to the beach for lunch. by the time we got there we were knackered out! The heat from the sand is amazing! Swam in lake Birrabeen which was great. really warm and it has white sand so it looks like the beach. Got back to the mainland and went for a Pizza Hut. It was buffett and we made the most of it by smuggling some out with us for the 13 hour bus journey to Aitlie Beach.
