We caught a flight from melbourne to Ayres Rock this morning which took about 2 1/2 hours. There was hardly anyhting to see from the plane. just lots of red soil and trees! Arrived at the resort mid-afternoon. There wasn't much to do there so we just went for a walkie again! The sunset was amazing over the outback and the Olgas rocks. Sarah missed this, she was having a kip! We even managed to take some English whether with us....rain, thunder and lightening! During the early hours we thought the roof was going to cav in. It was such heavy rain!
