Left Newcasltle heading for Port Macquarie and found this place even quieter than the last. Not a lot to do apart from walk and shop. The weather was lovely when we arrived and we found a nice spot on the beach for a couple of hours. There was nothing to do in the evening again so we headed back with a bag of M&Ms...again!

We woke up to a clear blue sky and it was very hot at 7.30am! headed down to the beach early to make the most of the sun. We watched the surfers but that was as far as we got to the water. It was freezing! Free pizza was much better...it was from Pizza Hut, although we don't go much on the pizza which bbq sauce....thats just not right! Newcastle is very very quiet during the evening so it was an early one for us again!

Caught the bus to Newcastle this morning. We have bought a long journey bus ticket from Greyhound which entitles us to 'hop on and hop off' as much as we like up the East Coast. Got to Newcastle which is a lovely little town with a nice beach. It was so nice to get out of the city and beable to breathe in fresh air!! Today we went up the Sydney tower which looks over the city and the harbour which is 560 meters above sea level. The views were amazing and we could see for miles...actually 25km! In the afternoon we did what we do best which was to shop. Lots of christmas trees going up in shops at the moment and we even saw santa down the high street. Giot the ferry to Manly beach this morning where we hoped to lay on the beach catching some rays. However, when we arived it was raining so it was another visit to the shops. It cleared u quickly but it was far to cold to sit on the beach. The water was actualy closed as the waves were sooooo big.
