Arrived back in Joburg at about 6:00pm - Luciano, Sarah, Jill and Louise all left to continue their travels and the rest of us sat down for our final dinner. After dinner we collected all the alcohol left over from the truck, loaded it to a table in the garden area and proceeded to wipe it out. The hotel came to tell us we were not allowed to do this but by then it was too late - it was virtually gone.

In the interests of good international relations the remainder of us - The Twomeys, Kim & Sam (UK) Sabrina & Fabian (Germany) Ruth & Trix (Switzerland) Elke (Germany) the Crew (SA and Zimbabwe) retired to the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our time together. We watched a programme called "Dinner for One" which is a UK comedy sketch written in the 60's and is shown every New Year's Eve in Germany (and apparently also Denmark). This has never been seen in the UK and we watched with much hilarity - I think a few drinks helped. Wonder if we can get this to catch on in England?
