Early start again, easy border crossing from Botswana into Zimbabwe.
We arrive at Victoria Falls before lunchtime and parked close to where a group of Zulu warriors were performing their traditional dancing - Heather immediately joined in and before long, she was teaching them how to jive …. A very surreal sight.
The falls themselves were at high water, which meant that visibility was very poor and we got absolutely soaked …….but it was fun and even "grumpy Steve" thought it was a brilliant day (Steve turned out to be not so grumpy really)
The accommodation was located on the banks of the Zambezi and was first class …..brilliant pool, excellent facilities, visiting Hippos coming up on the bank.
The family went their different ways the next day, while we stayed an extra day waiting for our transit to Joburg ….. Our last meal was spent downtown with the young campers.

Rachel The falls look amazing. Judging by the picture the sun is very bright. What an experience to dance with Zulu warriors. Only Heather could then teach them how to Jive. X
