The two-day transit to Johannesburg was uneventful …we shared the trip with 3 crew members and three other people in transit - a 68 year old South Korean who had skydived in Swakopmund and bungee jumped at Vic Falls (real hard core) and a mother and daughter from Holland who were very nice.

Part 2 - Kim and Sam arrive. 3/5/2018

Arrived in Johannesburg about 4ish in a hailstone storm, huge hailstones bouncing off the truck. Kim and Sam had already arrived - We headed for the bar, where some of our new family were starting to congregate. Ruth & Trix from Switzerland, Fabian, Sabrina and Elke from Germany - The bonding began.

Next morning we were joined by the rest of our family - Louise, Sarah and Luciano from England and Jill from New Zealand. So with our new crew consisting of Anthonie (Afrikaans, tour Leader) Clement (Driver from Zimbabwe) and Johan (Afrikaans trainee) not forgetting Sledge our trusty truck, we set off - Next stop Kruger.
