The first day was mostly driving, only stopping only stopping for meals and "comfort breaks", on the roadside (known as Bushy-Bushy) eventually arriving at our accommodation after dark at about 5:30 pm. Typical Mozambique meal for dinner followed by some drinks on our veranda with Kim, Sam, Fabian and Sabrina - Went to bed around midnight.

Our bungalows were virtually on the beach and predictably the next two days were spent on boats to islands (on one island we picked shells that looked like Pansies- a street cred crisis loomed) or snorkelling sites, swimming, snorkelling - some of the family saw a Manta Ray, whale sharks were invited but didn't show up. Sam even went paddle boarding with some of the crew …… possibly alcohol played a part as well. An amazingly vivid electrical storm viewed mainly through the bottom of a glass closed out our last night here.
