After only getting 2hrs sleep before getting on the bus there was quite a few of us still drunk and had the giggles big time. Eventually we passed out again and slept most of the way to Cordoba.

It was so hot and we were devastated not to have a pool anymore to cool off in. We arrived around 3pm on Saturday and all the shops were closed so there wasn't much we could do so after a big walk exploring the town we headed back to the hostel for a BBQ and few drinks listening to bad 90s pop music. Was so much fun and got us pumped to go out. We walked up to dominos club and had another great night out. On the way home we stopped for hotdogs and got super lost!!! Eventually made it home but by then it was daylight and already getting really hot again. I laid down and slept for about an hour until I woke up to realizing I had bed bugs crawling all over my arm and leg. It was so hot in our room with no wind and the fan barely blowing anything to cool down 6 of us so I was quite happy to leave the room and joined Nicole downstairs in the courtyard with lots of cold water and powerade to cool us down. Soon as it hit 1030 we decided to get ready so we could go to McDonalds when it opened at 11am.
Brett (Nicole's boyfriend) came with us and was so nice to be in cool air conditioning. We had Big Mac meals and after Nicole finished she turns to me and says "don't judge me but I'm going to get another Big Mac and by another I don't mean one!!!!" This girl is tiny and super fit yet can eat three Big Macs when hungover, Brett says to me this is an often occurrence when she's super hungover. We hung out at McDonalds for hours just to be out of the sun but eventually needed some sleep so headed back to the hostel and they replaced my mattress and bedding. It was so hot that I found a tiled bench in an alcove and slept outside.
The next morning almost everyone woke up with bedbug bites. Some so severe they had to get antibiotics and steroid creams to bring the swelling down. Tucan won't be using that hostel again.
