Hi there from UP & me. Particularly loved your blogs on Yellowstone & Canada. Boy, what memories you'll have. Not many can say they've seen bears in the wild. I bet it was quite emotional. Fantastic. We're off to Ibiza tomorrow & bless your Mum for taking us to the airport at 3am. Very much a last minute booking. I think it was either central heating or a week in the sun for PO!! You guessed!! I wouldn't mind but Gma, Mum & PO already have great tans. I've just got my usual red nose! Anyway, we'll be back next Friday so I can catch up on your latest on the Saturday I hope. Love & BIG hugs to you both XXX
Hey, how strange I was going to text you today to wish you a happy holiday, GMA had told me when i spoke to her on sykpe when we was picking Emilia up to go down to Lincoln. Yeah it was quite an experience but you will have to wait for more experiences like that for when you get back of your hols, we hve had some amazing experiences in Thailand and hopefully he blogs will be on for whn you get back, along with pics. I think you will probs need a box of tissues knowing you. I dont blame PO for choosing holiday over central heating, and you need to keep the an up, hey are all tough competition.
Hope you have a lovely holiday will speak to you when you get back, love to both of you from both of us xxxxx

Well I've jsut spent a while catching up on your blogs, sounds like you're still having an amzing time. Can you believe it's June already? You have been gone 6 months, no wonder the American's didn't believe you, it's fab!
I went on a family holiday to Malta the first week in May. Did nothing, well unless you count a day at the water park & reading 3 books. But I work hard & holidays are for relaxing! Thats my excuse & I'm sticking to it. I've only been back at work 3 weeks & it feels like I never went anywhere. But I break up for my main two weeks soon & we have some half decent plans. Nothing too flash as we are saving money to extend our house, Chris is talking about applying to a program on Channel4 called The Home Show to see if they'll do it.
We had a team night out last week, we went for a meal & round the bars at Xscape, in good old team fashion we were home for 11.30. Even Will left at 10.00. We are pathetic!
Lost & Heroes have finished both as confusing as ever!! But Big Brother starts this week. Yeah!!
As I'm sure you can imagine there has been more changes at work after the redundancies. Di & Claire are now safe again as 0800 reps & have taken a pay cut. Di did get a job in the Rookie team but got all upset about leaving, turned it down & had to apply to work in 0800. 0800 & Lending have merged & are now called Prospect Sales. There have been some team changes. Luckily my team has stayed exactly the same. Pete & Colin have swapped teams. As of the 1st of July Colin & I line into Ali Hind instead of Naomi. Gonna be strange feels like Naomi has been my manager forever.
Well I'm glad you both managed to avoid the swine flu. I'm gonna go have a look at your pics now xx
Hey sorry for the late reply,
Wow a lot has happened!! Cant believe all the changes at work, wont know where i'll be going when I get back it will be so strange!! Glad Di and Claire are ok, and you're right it will be strange not having Naomi anymore.
You heard anything back from the TV show you applied to yet?? Any reason in particular you're wanting to extend?
Cant believe its June no, its gone so quick we are over half way through now and in the last continent of the trip. I keep forgetting to send Naomi that email I am useless, going to send i today cos will be in Malaysia before I know it!!
Hope all still ok?!?! xxx

Cuz you would need a challenger tank to get those bottles!!! And yeah think you could be right about the Legend thing, but you have to humour the fans!
Melb { The Original One ;o) }
Cool, you've visited Gracelands, I wanted to go when I was in Tennessee a couple of years ago but we couldn't organise to get from Nashville to Memphis Speaking of Nashville, is it on your itinerary?
Hi, it was pretty cool and to be honest the best way you could have gotten across would be to hire a car and drive, everything else is a lot of messing around. We passed through Nashville but didnt stop it was the best way to our next stop from Memphis. x

Thinking about you both. Hope the Grand Canyon makes up for the disappointment of Niagara. Sending you love & hugs as always XXACxx

Hello there. Guess you're back with us after your "holiday". Fiji seemed to pass very quickly but hope you're all relaxed & tanned & ready for the next leg of the big adventure. Won't you have to spend a few days aclimatising (think thats the word) to the altitude before the long trek?
I'm at home with a relapse but don't think it's a bad one. G.ma still house sitting near York. Mum, Alicia, Puppy & Claudia are in a caravan somewhere in Wales if you didn't know.
Take care. Have fun & I look forward to reading all about the Andes. Love you both & miss you.

Just looked at your most recent photos & blogs. It's been a while guys come on! What else am I supposed to look at online!! New Zealand looked fab, the steep street looked really bizarre. I'm so jealous, being the mortgaged to death married woman that I am I will probably never get to see this stuff for real. The rest of my holidays will be Turkey or Malta until we sell up. Well, at least its warm!
How is Fiji? xx
AAAAARRRGGGGHHHH, I have just replied to your message and it said it hadnt worked so here goes again.
It sounds like its all been happening back at home, I was so shocked when I read about the redundancies, it mustve been awful when they were told about the situation, is there any mention of anyone else possibly going or been given options. Im hoping im safe cos dont know what i'll do otherwise!!!!
I have never known anyone have as many cold sores as you, you really arent lucky with them and as for feeling ill I can imagine you werent good, you always have a stuffy nose as it is.
Im well happy for Lora, i bet she does whizz around it that car, watch out in the car park eh! I never thought Steven would get round to setting a date for the wedding, i bet hes well excited like the kid he is!
As for the hols Id be grateful you can still go on them!! Plus like you say at least its warm which is always a bonus.
Hope you feel better soon, xxxxx

Happy Easter!
It's all go here, fd announced redundancies at one point it looked like Naomi, Difo & Claire were going. Naomi has been confirmed as safe, Diane has a job in the Rookie team & Claire has to apply to work in 0800 as a rep very confusing!! Ian Kelly & John Stainton are displaced from Mortgages & Jeanette Foster from CAL, they have until the end of May to find something else in fd or they will be advised of redundancy.
My Easter has been pretty crappy, I am full of flu. I don't remeber being this ill ever, my poor little nose looks like rudolph so I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself cos I have a cold sore too!!
Steven Anderson has provisionally booked his wedding for Oct 2010 at Tong Village Hotel, he's been telling us all about his plans today. Lora passed her driving test last week & has a little 206 convertable to whizz round in.
Hope you guys are still having fun xxx
Norman
Hi, Just catching up with your adventures on hearing you'd left NZ. I had to read the Queenstown post to see what you'd done. Nice to see you'd undertaken the Kawara on a string and the rafting - but, really, you need to capsize to get your money's worth. The Shotover sling thing sounds interesting but I can't imagine what it feels like. Pls post a shot of Norman (the elephant) in Fiji as he's never been there. Have a great Easter. Love N
The shotover swing feels amazing, cant really describe it apart from that!!
As for Norman the elephant he got a few snaps in a hammock in Fiji so hes happy!! Just in the airport at Santiago-we will make sure he gets some pics in South America as well!!!
Hope you had/have a good Easter (confused what day it is at the moment)!!! x

Hi, there. Sorry I have been missing so long but I am back now. Having just caught up with weeks of blogs and photos I can only say I am amazed at all you have accomplished. Like Carole I am even more amazed at the daring do of Carina. Well done to both of you. I am sorry the weather spoiled some of the sights for you but you have made up for it. With lots of help from Philip and Carole I have decorated and re carpeted upstairs in your honour as I could sit for hours reading all about your exploits in a tatty room. House sitting Good Friday for a week but hope for more updates when I return. Keep the adventures coming cos it`s better than TV. Thank you for the birthday card and call. That was really special. Love to you both and big big hug.XXXXXXXXXXXXG.ma.

Hi, Daringdo and Daringtinks. WOW. I have just read the Queenstown blogs. Wow and wow again. How fabulous, what a great way to use a garden chair!!! I must say David, that is a far far superior place for white water rafting than where you were originally going to do it. I am so thirlled that you are both having such wonderful adventures and getting to experience life 'outside the box'!! Lotsaluv and hugs as usual.xxx
Hi, got to say I still cant think of a better use for he chair, but there is time yet t consider combinig it with a snow board or 14000 feet!!!! Glad you enjoyed the blg I thought you would, the dart seems to have gone we couldnt find anything about it but think we made up for it. Now sat in Santiago airport waiting for our 3rd flight of one jurney which spans arund 3 days depending how you look at it!!! Very confusing and tiring. x x
