I'm still trying to catch up with your blogs, you have been to some amazing places, the blogs are so detailed I can really picture you both!
Sorry to hear about Dave's Gran. I think you did the right think to keep travelling. Chris's Grandad died recently. We had a humanist funeral, never been to one of them before there was no religion at all it was over really quickly which was good.
I had my main two weeks in June. We had a busy couple of weeks. We wnet to the British Grand Prix, we celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary by having lunch at Rudding Park & evening meal at Restaurant Bar & Grill in Leeds. We then spent the 2nd weeekend with my family in Colchester . Our 2nd week was really busy we had a day in Bridlington, Newcastle, Keswick & Edinburgh & then went to Chris's sisters wedding which was in Crail near St Andrews Golf Course. It was a beautiful place, I felt a bit like a spare part at times as Chris was an usher & I didn't know anyone else. It was hard going back to work after 2 weeks off so good luck to you guys!!
We have started some of the work on our house, we have had the front garden dug up & a fence put up & it will be tarmacked this week so that we can get the cars on the drive side by side. I am still waiting for Chris to pick an architecht so that we can submit a planning application for our extension. We have seen loads, he is being really fussy! We spoke to Leeds Planning Office while we off & they were quite positive about what we want to do so hopefully we will get permission.
I was treated to a trip to London with work. I went to the Your Money Awards where we won 2 awards. I got to stay in a nice hotel & have a nice meal with a free bar. Sadly I didn't take advantage, I had been warned by Naomi that I had to behave so I only had a couple. Actually I have gone right off alcohol, I can barely finish a glass of wine.
I have finally made it to the Dr's about the fact that I am a tired miserable cow most of the time. She sent me to Dewsbury hospital for blood tests. They are testing my liver & kidneys & for anaemia, diabetes & thyroid problems. She said if they are all negative it is probably something calld post viral fatigue which is when I don't give my body time to recover from illnesses such as flu & throat infection. I suppose that would come from never taking any sick time. Oops!
Well looking at this lot I've been a busy bee! I probably won't do anything else now till our holiday to Turkey in September. Julie Rawlins is going to our flat in Turkey next week, I gave her the keys today. Wish it was me :-(

Hey Carina,
Sorry to do boring work stuff but I have been asked to contact you to see when you will be back in the country.
Reason being that the department have now all multiskilled into Lending & the last course will be the first week in November. Resource want to know if you would like to attend. You could come back go straight on the Lending course & then consolidate that learning before upskilling on 0800 & Call Centre.
Sorry to bother you with boring work stuff, I will do a separate personal one. Let me know what you think xx

Hi Daringdo and Tinkerbell. I have just been looking at your last two blogs and sets of fotos. Well, what can I say, Where do I start. First of all it is great to see you having fun. I would have loved the zip slide but I don't think I would have wanted to drop into that filthy water even if I could swim well. David, you always have had still have and I guess always will have a great big grin on your face whenever you get near a large expanse of water. You always were a water baby. Do you remember frightening your nan half to death when you wanted to show her how long you could hold your breath under water? Your blogs are very good, really descriptive and the fotos you are both taking are amazing. The scenery is breathtaking, the caves looked wonderful, I am fascinated by all the figures and Buddahs, large and small. I recognised the Batik making picture straight away from seeing the little exhibition when we went to Butterfly World. I will catch up with the blogs and pictures I have missed eventually!! Parts of the world you have been visiting recently look rich in temples and statues but quite poor and scruffy for ordinary people. Look after yourselves and each other. Hope you continue to have fun and enjoy your travels. Missing you both lots. Lots of love and hugs.xx
Hello there, yes zip line was fantastic and as for water!!! Well its odd what becomes normal when you travel the world, everything as you know it changes in so many ways. Its a whole different way of life, but thats half the fun. I do remember that thing with nan but i was a kid and she ended up mre out of breath than me through worry!! Glad the blogs are good we like to set a good scene for it all, some of the pics dont do the real thing any justice but its the best you stationary peeps at home can have. Anyway you had best be up to date with blogs before we get back and that map had better be up to scratch otherwise you will have something to worry about!!!!!!!!! Have to go now but good to hear from you, miss you too but hey half way mark past now! x x
Auntie Carole
Just seen the pic of the bonsai by the lake in Hanoi. With Philips tender loving care yours is nearly that big now Carina!! XX
Well im glad he is looking after it so well!!!! I hope he isn't getting too attached to it!! xx
Mrs Mulligan!!
Hi Guys xx Hope you are both ok, well it definately sounds like you are, just trying to catch up on the 1000's of photos and blogs. The tubing sounds amazing by the way but not sure about the colour of that river. Think i might have needed a full on wetsuit and shoes to get me in it! Can't believe its almost the end of July already. We've had quite a busy month or so what with all teh wedding festivities...it was great to speak to you that day! we've also just had some more good news...no I'm not having a baby! buit I have just got a promotion at work which is the one I've been working towards for the past year or so, we are both over the moon and so excited about it all.
Not much more to tell you really Liam is his usual self playing on teh playstation 3 and watching cricket especially now the ashes are on (yawn). It's his birthday next week so I'm trying to get him to decide what he wants to do (i've got some new shoes so I want to go out so i can wear them!). We're starting to think about my 30th aswel which is getting scarily close ...well october, but I'm going to have a witches and wizards party in town somewhere so it should be a scream pardon the pun. The wedding photos are online now too so you can go on to have a peek if you have the time and/or inclanation its www.andysutcliffephotography.co.uk in the top corner go to my images, the username is pam and the password is Liam. These are the professional ones, we are just so pleased with them! also i've put loads on facebook too. Just wondering whether i've been waffling for too long yet..... Anyway we miss you! and are looking forward to seeing you/speaking to you soon. take care lots and lots of love Mrs Liam Mulligan (still sounds weird) xxxxxx
Hey you new wed peeps! Yeah we are fine, busy as always but no complaints about that. The Tubing was definately cool and very exciting, the river colour is just one of those things to us now. Odd how your expectations or acceptance levels change the longer you travel and more you see and do. And its guaranteed to be like that until we come home as we have no intention of letting up on the adventure now!!!!
We agree was fantastic to see you and speak to you on the wedding day and pleased you wanted us involved, but still sad we couldnt be there. But hey how good about the new job....Congrats on that one, we did text you good luck on the day of interview but not sure if you got it. Oh yeah meant to ask did you guys get your wedding card??! We had a look through the wedding pics and there is some good stuff in there but had to do it in stages because there were so many! How will you decide which to have??
Now as for your 30th, that is a disgrace that we will miss that too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is now no doubt we have to have a big doo out on our return to make up for all this missing out on stuff. As you say Liam will always just be Liam, but how could we love him any other way and all this Mrs Mulligan stuff is a bit odd so we think we might nickname you 'MullMuff'! What you think? Snazy hey!
Well we are in Vietnam now and its one crazy place, wont tell you anything else as now your wedding stuff is done you will need someyhing to fill your time so you have no excuse not to be up to date!!!! We will be checking..........
Anyway messages from anyone on here are never too much waffle, we like to see them so dont worry about that. Will text you soon and arrange to skype soon. Speak soon dont have too much fun without us, miss you and love you guys. Tata for a bit. xxxxxx
Wish Liam a happy birthday from us, hope he has a good day, even without us there!!!! xx
AC
Hi there. Exciting suff I've been catching up with. The tiger photos were truly amazing, particularly with Norman joining in. Will check to make sure Norman has seen it. Missed his birthday with things being a bit chaotic here so must phone him. P tried to txt you a sunset photo from Ibiza but it wouldn't send. We had a really good, chilled out week but this "must get a tan" lark is too much like hard work so it'll be a spray job before the next one, then I can relax under an umbrella all week!! Back at work I had the redundancy pay to sort out - 3 had to go - &, as you know, it's all quite upsetting. It's 15 years this month since Ron set the business up with me by his side. I'm very proud of his achievement. Anyway, after that it was - well if I say thankyou both so very much for your Xmas 07 gift. It's now in place & very comfortable & safe it is too. I spent a week paper stripping etc and now, for the first time in my 16 years here, have a looong bath, proper loo & sink with a proper plug. Such luxury. I had a 2 hour long bath on Friday with loads of bubbles of the bathing & drinking type! BLISS. It really doesn't take much to make me happy. Got to go to work now but I send my love as always, as does PO, & look forward to news of your next adventures. Lots & lots of love, hugs & XXXXXXXX
Hey AC, We felt Norman had to join in, Dad sent him an email with a few pics on I think so hopefully he will've seen them!! He always forgets peoples birthdays so i'm sure he will understand!! Phone not receiving pic messages for some reason, Faye has tried to send me a few pics of the scan but not got any of them. To top that off phone has completely broken, the screen has gone on it so cant do anyhting plus all my numbers and everything on that phone is stored to the phone and not to the sim so im a bit stuck!! will porbably have to wait til we get home to sort it out if possible. im glad bathroom is nice and complete for you and xmas present is solid!! i bet it seems like a lifetime since you started to get that bathroom sorted. at least you can now enjoy it and im sure there will be plenty more long baths infront on you. and youre right it doesnt take much to make you happy but thats only a good thing!! not like gma!!!! hope if she reads that she takes it the right way, im sure she will!!
as for work i can imagine it was upsetting cant believe its been that long, time is just flying by, especially will we've been on this trip, can really appreciate you need to make most of every day as best you can.
oh and the tan, you cant be cheating by going on the sunbeds, its not fair, mind you the rate our tahn is going at the moment i think we might have to when we get back to make up for it, we just dont have time to lay down and sunbathe anywhere so we are only catching it when we are walking around which doesnt have the same effect. going to have to make sure egt it built up before we come home otherwise im sure certain people will have something to say about it!!
anyway enough with the essay now, will speak to you later, lots of love xxxxx to PO as well xxxxx oh and hugs too xx

Hi Daringdo and Tinkerbell, Have managed to read the blog about "Tubing" Exciting or what? Something utterly different and outside the box. Clipper was much better today. don't feel as anxious leaving him, apart from the fact that thinking about the cigarettes has upset me somewhat. I am going to see to the car tyres, well George is coming with me.Then see to your car David, then get packed up. Hope you have a great time in Vietnam. Talk to yout later. Lotsaluv and hugs.xxx
Glad you are back up to date, didnt want you missing the antics! Tubing was quite exciting and certainly not something we have found anywhere else to do. Fits in nicely with trying to find new stuff to do all the time! Vietnam good but absolute chaos, but will be putting the first part blog on just after this so you can see what we mean. Hope you enjoyed your trip. x x

Hi. Daringdo and Tinkerbell. Got to give you plenty to read, whilst the demon machine is behaving itself. I like the idea of a new anniversary to celebrate, especially the one when you come home! That would be something positive and happy to think about. Gemma Hague worked in the night club when Martin and Stephen worked there and so she also knows Martin as "Perry". I've been dancing today, last Friday session until September, I will really miss it. Took Clipper back to the vet today to check on how the new tablets are working. Well, they haven't made any difference to him at all. His heart beat had got a lot faster so I left him there so that he could have an ECG test. The result showed that perhaps giving Digoxin will help, It will slow his heart beat down and so perhaps he will breathe better and get more oxygen into his lungs thus leading to less coughing. I'll take him back in a week or so to check on his heart beat. I am hopeful that the Digoxin will work cos I have to take that to slow my heart beat down and it works on me. He has just refused sausage again so I have had to go through the performance with the Frolic biscuits. Linda and Peter are having even more trouble with their new neighbours than they did with the old ones. They have put cameras up and watch all the comings and goings of people visiting Linda and Peter. I will feel like curtsying when I take Clips. I didn't get chance to curtsey on stage but I could do it for the camera. Leisa Hambleton(that was) phoned me today to ask about the "Wives 40yr reunion". Her twins are 15yrs old now. Dhe has just qualified as a teacher and will be starting work at Snapethorpe in September. She will be teaching year one children. Bet she'll be a lovely teacher. She was asking how you were doing and was really surprised when I told her of some of your exploits. Well, that's all for now. Hugs as usual please, lotsaluv. Take Care.xxxx
Hi again, Yeah I do recall you saying about Gemma working at the club, think that was after I left though! Not sure if the news on Clips is good or not, I will just hope the next tablets work for him and he stops been so fussy on what he eats to take them. Linda and Peter are not having a good time at all with there past and present sets of neighbours, not sure what they can do either! I dont think I have seen Leisa since we went to see her on cas road when the twins had just been born. But yes sure she will be good at teaching. Hope you are ok will speak soon. x x

Hi Daringdo and Tinkerbell, I'll try and keep the messages coming! Today Cindy and I sorted out our lists of food etc to take away with us. There is not half as much booze as there used to be. Partly for health reasons but partly because the pubs are no smoking now so we are quite happy to stay on for a while after we have had our meal. Yes pooch is very fussy and very smart. When you come home you can take over for a while and see how you do. David you are going to be a busy lad!!What with having to sort out boxes, furniture, carpets and the pooch. There are no little faces above this box, they have disappeared!! Emma and Dan were asking tonight about your whereabouts and I told them about Tiger Kingdom amongst other things. Emma would love to get her hands on a tiger. I have given her the blog address so they will be able to see for themsleves. When I get home from Brid Pauline and David are coming over to sort out some of the furniture. Martin has booked the weeekend off to help and I have asked Stephen to help as well. I met the guy who has bought John's bungalow tonight when I went to mum's. He has come from council accommodation in South Elmsall. He seemed pleasant enough. Been dancing tonight I don't do as much as I used to because I've missed so many sessions I don't know a lot of the dances that they do now. Learnt a nice one tonight though, it has nifty footwork. My head is a shed still for a lot of the time but it's getting a bit better. Hopefully as time goes on I'll be able to concentrate more and take in the new dances. Well it is ten to one in the morning so I'm signing off now. Take care, hugs as usual. Love ya lots.xxx

Hi Daringdo and Tinkerbell, well , the pair of you are getting more and more adventurous. I am really jealous of you being with the tigers as you know and of the fact that you have been skidooing and I haven't!!! I said I would post messages but this demon machine has now started to freeze at frequent intervals. I get halfway through something then off it goes. I had to get my car fixed yesterday, the key was getting stuck in the ignition. John fixed it for me and fortunately apart from the other jobs he has done he has worked in a scrapyard so he was able to renove the ignition barrel ect. and build another one from Vauxhall parts. Hope you are enjoying where you are, I'm leaving it at that for now, just in case the maching freezes again and I have to turn it off. Lotsaluv and hugs.xxx
Yeah well we cant not be really after calling this an adrenaline fuelled adventure! You know anyway if there is something new to try its like a magnet! Got to admit though the tigers really got the blood pumping, as you saw on the picture where Mikey is stood on the pool edge they were capable of plenty of activity and well aware of us in there. Nice to have messages again, they have been a bit sparse of late. Hope evryone hasnt forgotten about us out here. speak soon x x

Hi Daringdo and Tinkerbell, I am back!!! Can't be letting the side down. As promised, yoghurt for breakfast, Stirfry for dinner and pasta salad and mackerel for tea. Oh and it was the black ones today!! That bit over, have just been catching up with the message board. It's 1.15am so might not get much more catching up done. I have had problems with pooch again today. At one point he had four dishes down with different food in them. Have now given that up and will be trying the Frolic method for all the solid tablets and 'food' for the capsule. It will be a lot less stressful for both of us and I have to try and get him back into some sort of routine for when he goes on his holidays. I had a good time at Gemma's party last night. I am an 'honourary' aunty to her and an honourary sister to Ruth's sisters so that's nice. It rained, of course, just as it does every year when Gemma has her birthday party. She and Chris are getting married on 5th june next year and she told me last night that she wants to invite 'Perry' and Stephen to the wedding. That should be interesting. It has been hot here again today but it rained a little this evening. I went to the crem today, it would have been my dad's birthday on the 1st July and mum and dad's wedding anniversary on 8th July. Mum and I always went to the crem on the middle weekend. Ruth came with me to make sure I was alright. We went to pick Charlie up on the way back as he had been shopping, which you know he loves to do. John and the children came to pick them up about 5.15 to take them home. They had stayed overnight in a tent in Gemma's garden.( John and the kids not Ruth and Charlie!!) That's enough for now. Tell you more home news next time. Ain't it exciting? Are you sure you want me to do this? I am more than happy to. Lotsaluv. Hugs for each from me. Take care.xx P.S Where are the little orange faces.?
Hi, the faces should be on the top of the message box when you are writing. You click on the one thats there then choose from the box of them that appears. That pooch is getting far too fussy in his old age but better he get the tablets somhow. even if its three bowls of food. Besides he will eat it eventually or be hungry! Not sure I am seeing the link between Perry, Stephen and Gemma? Ruth and Charlie in a tent would be a definate adventure in itself me thinks! As for the Crem, it does seem these days there are getting an awful lot of those dates. We will have to create an anniversary date of when we left and returned from travelling, something a bit more positive. Anyway think I covered all so will sort to skype you soon. x x
