So arriving at Noosa quite late after driving all day we found another beach spot to sleep for the night after a bit of body boarding which was harder than surfing, the following day we discovered Noosa to be the Milan of the east coast and very expensive. It seemed to be nothing but shops down one street but had some spectacular apartments on the beach front that had the price tag to match. Noosa junction was a 5 min drive and seemed more geared to backpackers with loads of tour shops and surf shacks. As Noosa had only been a rest stop on the way up the coast we drove on to stay at rainbow beach however we drove right into the rubbish weather coming down from the northern storms. We managed a short walk on the beach between rain but apart from that just did the loads of washing we had ready for Hervey bay and Fraser Island as they were the next stop the day and few after.
