So here we are finally in a City!!! Seems like normality again!! Found a really nice campsite which is only 2km from the city and a nice walk in. We said it was going to be a long trip and it was, all told 15 hours only 45 mins of that was the ferry crossing! When we arrived there we realised there was only 2 caravan parks on the whole of the Island and none near the Port! As Kings Canyon wasnt anything much we left after a one night stop off to Coober pedy, on this trek of 9 hours ish we had another encounter with the law!!!!????!!! Yep we got stopped crossing the border, documents checked by police, van searched with the inclusion of a drug sniffer dog, then searched by quarantine officials for reptiles and fruit or veg which could be contaminated!!!
