Sunday 11th - Thursday, 15th November

On Sunday we just chilled out around Sanpakha. During the week we didn't seem to teach as much as we did last week. Some lessons the teachers wanted their students to carry on with the activities they had already started. But the lessons we did teach went really well and the kids seemed to enjoy them. P3 now just say "lenn game!" which means "play game!" repetitively as soon as we walk in. so it was a bit challenging trying to get them to concentrate, but we always play a game at the end of the lesson! One day we joined in with somsin and P2 doing exercise! That was interesting… every Wednesday they all wear their PE kit but never do PE, so we asked Won and she told us because their grades were not very good last term they have to use their "sport time" to study. Some of the teachers have different views but they cant say anything and just have to go with the flow. On Thursday, we taught for 2 hours and then went to the resort as South Island School (Emma's old high school) were there. So we got a free lunch with them and spent the afternoon at the pool. We also went up to the restaurant for a cheeky slice of chocolate cake! It was delicious (or in thai = Aroy!)!
