THEME PARKS! Today is theme park day. We start off on the 8:30am bus to Universal, Islands of Adventure. We get there and immediately hit Harry Potter land because everyone really wants to see it. We get on the Dueling dragons coaster that promised a 5 min wait but delivered a 45 min wait! It's a really good coaster though, smooth and some excellent parts where it feels like the 2 coasters are gonna hit each other. I was on the Chinese Firecracker one. Next we go meet Beck again (she opted not to go on the coaster) who has had a butter beer and a look around Hogsmead. So we have a look around and Matt gets a magic wand, but it's getting mega crowded so we head for Jurassic Park. We go on the JP river cruise and get fairly soaked, so we go get lunch in the Jurassic Park Visitors centre and then x-ray some Dino eggs. Hulk coaster and Spiderman ride quickly follow with 20 mins wait for each. All rides thus far are pretty top notch. We see the Sinbad stunt show which is a bit meh, but they do set a guy on fire! We finish things up with the actual Harry Potter ride and it's a 45 min wait but boy is it worth it. I'm not a Harry Potter fan but I can honestly say it's the most amazing, intense, darn right impressive theme park ride I've ever been on. It was frickin amazing! We go with Matt and Carly to have dinner in City Walk at Pastamore. Next up is the Halloween horror night at Universal Studios. Basically they transform the whole park into a haunted attraction with 8 "scare zones" where you walk along the street and through Zombie Gras with broken floats and dead people littering The ground as zombie musicians and jazz queens attack you as you walk by. They had 2 shows which we saw, a magician show and Bill and Teds excellent Halloween show. They had 8 haunted warehouses of which we visited 3. Horror nights- Which is set in a ware house of movie props and scenes come to life and included a section where alice was eating the mad batters guts at the tea party. Legendary Truth at the wydham estate was a rip off of Most haunted only the house is most definitely haunted!. Psychoscarepy was set in a mental hospital, they where all proper purpose built sets with live actors, crazy sounds and scary as hell! Beck managed to go on all 3 and I was proud of her for that. It's was really really well done and I screamed like a girl in all 3 houses. The whole experience was really excellent. We headed home at midnight, knackered.
