You'll no doubt be pleased to hear that I'm back in the land of the living, albeit I'm now even more weak and exhausted. Sunday night I had some very terrifyingly odd nightmares so when I woke up feeling weird on Monday morning I put it down to a lack of sleep. However by lunchtime I was aching from head to toe and had a splitting headache and so decided to go home and take the afternoon off. Hi everyone, sorry for the long delay since last writing. The teaching is still hard but I'm hoping it may click soon. It didn't help that this week I was asked to teach the kids about the Antarctic......I thought someone was taking the piss, but apparently not. Saturday was spent having a long lie in to recover from the week. I then went in search of a decent cup of coffee. Every one I'd tried so far had been foul black treacle with the oddest taste. At last, a proper cup of fresh coffee was located at the Cafe Central, so I had to have 3 of them. First week over and boy am I glad. I am absolutely exhausted which I think is down to the heat, the work and the never ending energy of the kids, especially on Friday when they were so hyper active. Quite an eventful week all in all.......I learnt to make an origami spider (photo later but pretty good even though I do say so myself), sung to the poor children, was attacked by one and had a split lip to contend with, as well as getting a blister from sharpening ...
