It was my first day in the Spanish conversation class. I am in the class with 6 others with various skill levels(most are high).

I felt a little uneasy as I wasn't able to communicate my thoughts I'd answers to the questions. I hope it improves as the week progresses.

Since the class started at 1:15, I felt like it was difficult to actually go and do something touristy. This week, there are several Corpus Christi events happening. Most will be held just outside the city. Things like bull fighting, flamenco dancers, music and more. Hopefully I'll get a chance to travel on the outskirts to attend these events.

I made dinner tonight and enjoyed some spicy Thai curry with rice. Mmmm. I also watched the wwdc for Mac conference online. I was hoping they would announce the new iPhone. They did but it looks the same with some minor new features. Now my descion is do I get one is will the iPod touch suffice for the next two years? Hnnmmm.

I decided to go and take pictures of the city streets all lit up for the festival. They are colourful and elegant. It somewhat looks like Christmas in June!

One of the caretakers here at the residence just invited me to a big flamenco dancing event. I´m considering going, just for the experience. I´ll post pictures as soon as I can!
