My bed was rather hard and small. I had an early morning and quickly
ate breakfast, drank my coffee and walked to school. I surprised myself that I made it to the school without any difficulties.
There were about 10 of us in total from all areas of the world but we
could all speak English. We were quiet this morning but by the end of
the day we became more relaxed.
The instructor is very nice but cannot speak English very well. After
todays class, she stated that she will not speak any English for the
remainder of the week.
Our schedule is from 9 to 1 daily with a half hour break in between.
We learned some basics today. Pronunciation, introductions, the date, etc.
We did have a tour this morning after our placement test which was great.
There are two other students in my class. We are all at about the same level.
Later tonight, I will be going back to the school and meeting with
several students to go out for a bite to eat. It will be great to
practice some Spanish in real life situations. I hope by the end of my
two weeks here I will be able to communicate using basic Spanish.
