My European tour is now half over. Where did the time go? Well at least I have thousands of pictures to refer to!

Today we went to the Alhambra. We walked up the steep hill. It was
exhausting. They do have a bus that goes up but it costs money. On the
way up they have benches so you can rest. We stopped once to catch our
breath.

I couldn't have asked for a better day. It was overcast but still warm
and beautiful. The sun peeked out a few times but it was not as
intensive as the rest of the week.

Our entrance time was 2:30. They don't have things as organized as you
would expect. Hardly any of the attendants could speak English.

We walked around, ate lunch, took pictures and waited. Finally we went
in to the palace area. There was so much to look at. Breathtaking views
and stunning architecture surrounded me. I took pictures of
everything. The detail in the carved rocks was nothing like I've seen
before.

We walked for over 5 hours through various buildings and gardens. We
came to the end of the tour and had to carefully make our way down the
hill. Many shops with souvenirs are on both sides of the street. You
can't help but stop and look their merchandise.

I took about three hundred pictures today. I hope I can put a few up but they take so long to convert and upload.

I need a good nap now and to unwind and relax the rest of the evening.
