Sabbadi

Well survived the mini bus journey from Luang Prabang. The government pays the locals to protect the route from Luang Prabang because mini buses were getting stopped and robbed regularly. So now you see locals in jeans an a t-shirt with machine guns every few miles along the route. Seen a lad about 17 with a gun across his chest riding his bike with his little brother on the back.

Got there a checked into a room in a guest house with my mate jamie for $3 a night. Stayed for 3 nights so it was $4.50 each for accomodation aba 2 pound MAD!

Went and done this thing called tubing on the second day. Had an eventfull day to say the least. Basically you float down a river in a big tyre innertube stopping along the way to go off swings and zip lines into the river. Oh an having a beer laos or ten as you go. Anyway second swing in and I manage to find the river bed rocks with my face. thought I was a gonna for a minute but was just cuts and bruises thank god. Should have went the hospital really, but decided to just poor some vodka over my face, stick some sea weed on it an order another beer laos. Had a boss day apart from that was the best river pub crawl i've ever done. Went out that night and repeated the same story over an over again to everyone I met. Managed to meet some aussie girl and a Isralie(ronny rosenthal aye) girl too through it though so have to smash my face in more often.

loved vang vien met some sound people there and got the scars to go with it too.
