We started off our day by packing onto a bus at Southgate before 8am. No hiccups there at all. Had an easy ride to Calgary. Although the whole bus had a heated discussion on whether, when washing shampoo out of your hair, you should lean back, or stick your head forward into the spray. It even sparked a Facebook poll to see what would win. (Hint: the correct way won, which is #TeamLeanBack) Hard to take a bus to an airport instead of the one in our city. 
We arrived in Calgary with plenty of time to spare. We got all of our checked bags in and it our boarding passes (both flights on one!) and headed through security.
Had some free time to grab a little bit to eat, and then wait to board. Emily, JoJo, Merina and I were seated together, but away from the group, because we are 'deviants'.
The flight wasn't horrible (as much as a 9hr flight can be). The food was pretty good, and the entertainment system was great. Miles better than Canadian airlines. We tried our best to sleep, but it wasn't that easy seeing at it was 3pm our time. Managed to get some leg stretching in and a couple cat-naps before landing in Amsterdam. Next flight won't be as easy.
