Today we jumped on the train and went into TST, Hong Kong's main shopping district. Nathan Road is the main street in the area and it is kilometers long with shopping. Although it could do with a few less Chinese medical shops. They stink when you walk past and there is one every few shops. We spent about HK$400 on clothes. With the good exchange rates it was a bargain. When Yvonne got home from work we headed back into Hong Kong to the Temple Street markets for our first bartering experience. We also had Chinese in the middle of the street where Tony got to pick his mantis shrimp from the live tanks (which were actually buckets with air pumps). It sounds dodgy but the food was great and there were a lot of both locals and westerners eating there so it was quite safe . Temple Street markets are definitely worth a look when you are in Honkers.
