This morning I had a gorgeous hot shower and a good breakfast and set off to the cable car to go up the hill to Cerro San Bernardo overlooking the beautiful city. It was so nice to see and smell greenery!

After a little walk around up there taking in the sun and views, I left the girls and headed back down to the city. I walked to the main square and saw the giant pink cathedral :) I was a bit worried to get my camera out, as there was so many people and i was on my own and I had everything on me, I didn't want to make myself a target... But it was a sight for sure!

I went back to the hostel and met with the girls and said bye at the bus station where I was to set off for another 24hr bus journey, luckily this one was completely uneventful!

Although when I arrived at my hostel in Puerto Iguazu in the dark the next day I wasn't happy when I saw a sign on the door saying it was closed and I had to walk back up the hill to the other one! But the new one was nice and chilled and I had a great nights sleep!

Salta was beautiful, a flying visit and nice to relax for a few hours! Now for one of the new wonders of the world...
