June 2:
Today was a rest day and also was our first day in Broome. In the morning we had breakfast and then went across the road to a pearl shop. Most of there pearls were cultured meaning that they had reused an oyster to keep on making other pearls. The store got their pearls from a place called Willie Creek. Most of the day we were waiting for 3:00 to come because mum said we were aloud to go to the beach. At long last 3 had come and it was time to go to the beach. It was really low tide when we got there and the sand was really hard. The colour of the water was really pretty especially when the sun was going down. There is a thing up here at Broome it’s called the stairway to heaven. It’s suppose to be the moon rising and the water being in little ripples so they look like stairs, except we saw the same thing happening but with the sun. With a pretty view to finishing the day we went home ready for bed.
