Day 15:
Today we drove from the Uluru resort to Kings Canyon. We left at 8:40 in the morning, ( which is our new pack up record ). We drove on a sealed road from Ayers Rock. Once we got to Kings Canyon we had a lunch break and had some chicken sandwiches. Dad decided to do the 6 kilometre walk. That took us about 3 and a half hours to walk through the gorge, next to cliffs and over domes. The walk started with a set of stairs. There was 500 stairs, that pooped all of us at the start. The rest of the walk was all rocky and there were almost vertical down hill bits as well. Little did we know that the rest of the day was going to be a disaster. At 5:00 in the afternoon we were driving on a Mine road that was only gravel. There were dips and crests everywhere there were also corrugations all over the road. When we had about 150 kilometres left until Glen Helen Gorge our camper trailer Tyre came off. We were sitting in the car for about an hour while dad tried to fix it with mum. We ended up getting to Glen Helen at 8:45 in the night when we could’ve gotten there at 6:00. But we had a really nice dinner to finish off our day.

Seb King Did Cam do NAPLAN?
Grandad Grandma & I are really enjoying reading all your blogs. What's happened to all of you this week?.? At least you are staying at a very interesting place. Have you seen Rachel Dewhurst yet? I wonder how you'll survive six in a three man tent tonight? Rotten luck about your trailer but let's hope it gets fixed Monday. Can't believe it's three weeks since you arrived at Rutherglen.
