Day 14:
Today we got up at 5:45 in the morning to go see the sunrise at the Olgas. The Olgas are a strange rock formation, with the highest peak reaching 500m tall. The Olgas changed colour from black in the morning to a dark red colour and then finally when the sun came up it had a mix of purple and orange. After the sunrise we went on two walks. The first walk was called the Valley of the Winds and boy was it windy! The second walk was a longer hour and a half walk. This walk went right into Walda Gorge. I was interested in the rocks that had fallen out of the side of the mountain as well as learning that the kangaroos in the area recycle their own urine to survive! After lunch we collected our bikes for a 15km ride around Uluru. It was great fun. Every time I looked at Uluru it was a different colour. I touched Uluru as we rode past it. Cam had a ripper of a stack and Daddy was being very mature and doing wheelies with Lily on the back.
