Hey everyone,

This is our blog from Phuket where we spent the majority of last week. We were based on the west coast of the island at Patong Beach.

The first night we got talking to some Aussie lads an ended up pretty drunk in Aussie bar after spending the day walking around the town centre. Our second day was pretty much wasted as we both spent most of the day with hangovers and moaning that we felt ill.

In our third day we booked the James Bond tour for the next day and then was pretty much just being lazy on the beach. Being entertained by some people on a banana boat (they fell off a lot). We then went for a drink decided we had not recovered enough and swiched to water instead.

The fourth day was our trip. First we went to the Monkey temple where hundreds of monkeys lived, they weren't shy either. We got to feed them and they were fast to take the food, nearly took my hand off. We then went to James Bond Island, Tom loved this bit as he is a big Bond fan. We then went sea canoeing, this was fun, the tour guide took us through loads of caves and kept taking my camera off me and taking random pictures. We finished off at a Muslim fishing village, i stayed as close to the water as i could incase i had to swim for my life, as you walked past the stalls the women shouted to you to come and look and if you didn't they got angry.

That night we went for a quiet drink in a bar called scruffy murphys (must be the Irish in me), where they had a live band that were pretty good.
