Hey everyone,

Although we are no longer in Phi Phi we thought we would update you on our activities there.

First of all we had to get on a little boat to take us to the big boat which was parked in the middle of the sea??????? well when we tried to get onto the big boat we discovered a problem. The sea did not want to let us get on alive, the small boat was being thrown about everywhere, and as usual the Thai people had the safest way to get you up, by dragging you up by any body part they could grab hold of (literally).

When we finally arrived in Phi Phi we found ourselves in the poshest resort (for a change). Phi Phi is only small so were able to walk around the whole place in about 5 mins, there is also no transport allowed which is good except the crazy people on bikes who on more than one occasion tried to mow us down.

On the 3rd day we had booked to go on a trip that took us to the actual beach where the beach was filmed (which we discovered was on the other Phi Phi island, they have 5). But due to bad weather it was cancelled, so instead we had a Thai massage. I went for the oil massage and Tom went for the traditional Thai massage (he was in a lot of pain lol) We then watched the simpsons film in a bar. All the bars seem to play films, it was like a town full of cinemas (i loved it) and all of the played The Beach at least once a day.
