hello all. got to bankok safely after a gruelling 12hr flight. met a cool guy called roman from ibiza who we have been chilling with for the past 2 days. were staying at a pretty nice hotel about 2 mins walk from khao san rd (which is a backpackers haven and a kind of meeting point) and it has a pool aswell as air con, which is pretty vital in the stifling 35C humid heat...all for only 400 baht per person a night which is about 7 pounds. we had a really funny night last night. had dinner on khoa san rd then we went to see a ping pong show. it waspretty weird but absolutely hilarious with girls firing ping pngs, smoking cigarettes, writing messgaes with a pen and even pulling razor blades (that was pretty horrific) from their pussies lol. tuk tuks are pretty mental, the drivers drive most of the way on the wrong side of the road and tend to pop wheelies at traffic lights for a laugh, which makes the ride more entertaining. today andy and i went to the grand palace which was impressive, but man was it hot in the midday sun. we have booked a bus to chaing mai for tomorrow evening which is a 12 hr bus journey to thailands largest city up north. it is there that we have a booked a 2 day 1 night jungle trek on which we spend a night with a hill tribe, aswell as doing an elephant jungle trek, go swimming under a waterfall and go bamboo river rafting...cant wait. (mums and dads) andy and i are safe etc etc and having a good time, missing you all and will keep you posted. love tommi xx gay boy andy says hi too
