Just realised i have not left an update for a while. I had an awesome time in Cairns but due to a cash flow problem, i had to go and find some work so i bought a bus ticket to Ayr, which took 11 hours! Arrived down here last Friday, and am staying in a hostel next to the bus station which was very convenient. At first it seemed a bit of a dive, very dirty and smelly, and just a strange kind of place, its growing on me now though, it really doesnt bother me as long as i get some work. When we arrived we were told it would be about 2 weeks before anything was available, but luckily i manged to get some Zucchini picking on Monday. It really was not my thing though as you had to hold all the Zucchinis on you arm and balance them, there was no bucket or anything, so obviously with my bloody shakes this was not the best thing for me! So i am a bit annoyed that i could not have carried on as i really wanted to just settle in to a job and earn some money so i wont have to work for a while after i finish.......... Back on the waiting list again for work but there does seem to be alot coming in now, so fingers crossed for the next few weeks. I have not had a beer for 4 days, i am now getting withdrawel symptoms, and i dont like it! And after drinking eveyday for 6 weeks it feels strange.............. Hoping to tay in Ayr for 4 weeks after work starts, and then probably head to Sydney. Still having a great time hope you are all well, sorry about small update, running out of credit on the internet and i dont have any cash for another card............. or food, haha.
