After a very cold sleep in Dingbouche we set off for Debouche. We started the gentle climb up along the river passing some men rebuilding an earthquake damaged house. The route was gentle to start and it was another sunny morning as most misting a here appeared to be. We passed a broken bridge that was damaged by an avalanche a few years back that made our route over the river a bit longer. Over the river we stopped for a much needed hot soup and Tom visited the worlds worst toilet. After a long rest we continued up the steep side of the hill towards Dingbouche. The next part of the walk was a gentle accent through the valley in better weather before finally arriving at the Good Luck Inn, our accommodation for the night. This was by far the best yet, with warm carpet and a really nice dining area! We dumped our gear and went in search for The French Bakery that we had seen on our walk up to the village. Dingbouche was a nice place with endless stone walls separating small fields of cows. We took a walk down 'the main street' talking to the ever friendly locals, horses and yaks. We spent the evening eating and playing cards with all our new trekking mates at the Good Luck Inn. Unfortunately, this was the start of our first altitude induced sleepless night!
