Cusco is a pretty cool city I have to say! Very different to Arequipa and i think i do prefer it eventhough it is more touristy which can be annoying. We are staying at the hostel which is run by the daughter of the people whose hostel we stayed in in Arequipa, keeping it in the family. We left Cusco and took the local bus to Pisaq, a town just 1 hour fromCusco to visit the Inca ruins. Im glad we didnt buy into the tourist tours and have done the SacredValleytrip ourselves as it is very easy (there is nothing wrong with local buses!), very cheap (20p) and a little more cultural.
