After spending an extra day in Uyuni for me to get over my altitude sickness we decided to get moving and head across the desert to Tupiza in southern Bolivia. We got an horrendous night bus from La Paz to Sucre. It took about 14 hours but that wasn't the problem. The screaming baby sat 2 seats away from us was the problem! The bus journey to La Paz was a relatively easy one considering the roads. We did have to get off the bus at on point and cross a river on a boat. the bus went on a barge! Strange sight! So we have arrived in Bolivia! We´ve heard good thinmgs and bad things including that only 4% of the countries roads are paved...nice!
