Well then so far the trip has been very....interesting. Arrived at hotel in Cancun late on the wednesday and dumped all our stuff to head straight out for a few quiet drinks to celebrate out arrival. Found one 'quiet' which offered $15 for an open bar all night, so we obliged, paid up and the next thing a i remeber is waking up at about midday the next day. So far so good, so that day walked along the beach for a bit took a couple of asprin ate a bit and decided this time we need a proper night out...needless to say again a different club offered about $30 open bar all night, but before going in we met up with a couple of guys from Dulwich who were also out travelling, so we all headed to the place $35 each to get a table with free bottles of vodka all night and a free bar as well, again don't remember much woke up for breakfast the next day.... And so decided to get my leg checked out by the local doctor just to make sure it was alright, needless to say I have/had (not too sure Spanish is a bit rusty) a blood clot in my right leg and so 4 days in hospital later, i am once again free and writing this update. So in reality i have absolutely no idea what cancun is like as a place except the inside of two bars my hotel room and my hospital room. So anyways i would ask Simon for an update as to what its like but i last saw him on friday morning and have very little idea as to his whereabouts. So just to say basically i am ok, have to inject myself a few times over the next few days and take a few dozen pills, but i will survive, i hope. We have decided to stay an extra few days here so i can actually see what it is like, as our check out would be tomorrow, so will update you all later with a proper update.
